Atambayev congratulates Merkel on victory of her CDU party in elections to Bundestag

Bishkek, Sept. 26, 2017. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev congratulated Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel on the occasion of the victory of her party - the Christian Democratic Union of Germany in the elections to the Bundestag, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.

"The victory of your party is a clear sign of support by the German people of your chosen political and socio-economic course. I am confident that under your leadership the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany will successfully continue its activities to further strengthen the country's sustainable development.

I confirm the deep interest of the Kyrgyz Republic in the further expansion of mutually beneficial Kyrgyz-German cooperation," the message said.

The Kyrgyz leader wished the Federal Chancellor good health and further successes, and the friendly people of Germany - peace and prosperity.
