Bishkek, March 2 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev received today, 2 March the Managing Director of Oppenheimer & Co., the head of the company in the direction of "Capital Markets" by John Tonelli, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reports.
During the meeting the plans for implementation of joint activities in order to attract foreign investments into the Kyrgyz economy were discussed. In this vein, the sides stressed the importance of taking effective measures to promote a positive image of Kyrgyzstan in the world markets and the presentation of investment opportunities of the country in order to attract potential investors from Europe and the United States.
President Almazbek Atambayev said that the country's economic growth and dynamic development of mutually beneficial relations with its foreign partners in many respects depend on how well formed and promoted the country's image in foreign markets. The Head of State expressed hope for active cooperation with a view to a real increase of investment attractiveness of the country, attracting capital into promising sectors of the economy of Kyrgyzstan for the effective use of the advantages and opportunities that the country has to provide favorable conditions for business.
