Atambayev: "In 2-3 months SDPK will nominate its candidate for president"

Bishkek, March 24 / Kabar /. The new President of Kyrgyzstan should be a person with an unblemished reputation, President Almazbek Atambayev said today at a meeting with journalists, answering the question about the presidential candidate from the SDPK party.

He said that it will be right if first they will measure public opinion, conduct polls among population and only after the ratings are received, a candidate for the presidency will be nominated. Because SDPK has a lot of candidates.

"And in about 2-3 months the party will nominate its candidate. Moreover, we should not forget that there is such a thing as a war of compromising materials. And the new candidate should be with an unblemished reputation," the President said.

The presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan will be held on November 19, 2017.

President Atambayev is one of the founders of SDPK- Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan.
