Bishkek, July 6 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev received Chairman of the State Committee of Industry, Energy and Mineral Resources Duishenbek Zilaliev, the President's press service reported.
During the meeting, the head of state was informed about the ongoing work to attract investments in the hydropower industry and the development of domestic energy. In particular, he was informed on the plans for the implementation of projects involving the introduction of new generating capacities through the construction of large and small hydroelectric power stations on the rivers of the country.
Atambayev emphasized the special importance of the qualitative implementation of projects to develop domestic hydropower engineering to ensure stable power supply and further strengthen the country's energy security.
