Atambayev is reported on the assistance provided to families of victims of a plane crash

Bishkek, Feb. 24 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev received today First Deputy Prime Minister Muhammetkaly Abulgaziev and was briefed on the assistance provided to families of those killed and injured in the crash of a cargo plane Boeing 747 in Kyrgyzstan on Jan. 16, the Kyrgyz President's press service reports.

During the meeting the Head of state was informed about the work undertaken by the Government to address the consequences of the tragedy and the implementation of remedial actions. Abulgaziev provided the information on the assistance to the families of those killed and injured in providing them temporary shelter, necessary medical care and medicines, provision of social support to children, including organization of their studies.

Abulgaziev also reported to the President on measures taken to provide legal assistance to the families of those killed and injured in the crash in obtaining financial assistance and compensation.

President Atambayev stressed the need to continue to take effective measures to help all citizens, who were affected by this tragedy. According to the President, no one should be left without proper attention and protection by the state.
