Atambayev receives member of State Duma Ivan Belekov

Bishkek, July 22 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev at the State Residence in Cholpon-Ata received Ivan Belekov, a member of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, ex-chairman of the State Assembly of the Republic of the Altai of the Russian Federation, who arrived in the country to participate in the International Forum "Altai civilization and Related peoples of the Altaic language family ".

The Kyrgyz president's press service reported that during the meeting Belekov thanked Atambayev for the invitation to take part in the international forum. "I felt that the forum was prepared very thoroughly, and with a deep understanding of his ideas," he said.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Altai in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, taking into account the historical ties between the two peoples.
