Average life expectancy of population in Kyrgyzstan has been increased over past 10 years – health minister

Bishkek, July 26, 2019. /Kabar/. The average life expectancy of the population in Kyrgyzstan has been increased to 71.3 years over the past ten years, Minister of Health Kosmosbek Cholponbayev told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He said that this is a good achievement, which means that the quality of life of citizens is improving.

“In recent years and at the end of the first half of 2019, there has been an increase in the birth rate, which made 26.4 per 1,000. There is a stable trend towards a decrease in the total mortality rate-5.2 per 1,000 (5 months of 2018 - 5.4‰),” Cholponbayev said.
