Azerbaijani PM expresses condolences over death of Kyrgyz citizens in car accident in Russia

Bishkek, Aug. 22, 2022 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov expressed his condolences to Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov in connection with the death of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in a car accident in the Russian Federation.

“I am deeply shocked by the news of the death and injury of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic as a result of a traffic accident in the Ulyanovsk region of Russia. In connection with the tragedy, I express my deepest condolences to you, the families and loved ones of the victims, the entire fraternal people of Kyrgyzstan, and wish a speedy recovery to the victims,” Ali Asadov’s message says.

14 citizens of Kyrgyzstan have been killed in a road accident in the Ulyanovsk Region and three more are in hospitals with injuries.

The accident occurred on Aug. 21 at approximately 13:00 on the M-5 Ural highway in the Nikolayevsky district of the Ulyanovsk region. As a result of the accident, 16 people died and five more were injured. A truck driver did not brake in time and crashed into a minibus waiting for its turn to pass a road section under maintenance.
