Bishkek, Nov. 2, 2023. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobaev received a delegation of investors from the People's Republic of China, the press service of the Cabinet reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
Particular attention was paid to issues of cooperation in banking, e-commerce, hydropower and the development of renewable energy sources.
Bakyt Torobaev expressed his full readiness to support projects aimed at attracting investments and noted that all necessary conditions are being created for this.
“We have big plans in the mining and energy sectors. We are ready for cooperation and practical implementation of all planned projects,” Bakyt Torobaev emphasized, noting the need to develop a road map, which will be the beginning of further joint actions.
In turn, representatives of the Chinese delegation noted the great interest of Chinese companies in investing in projects in Kyrgyzstan and emphasized that they were ready to consider the possibility of cooperation in the energy, trade, economic, and banking sectors.
It was noted that the high-level visits gave a great impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
“We are confident that Kyrgyzstan will become the Singapore of Central Asia in the future,” concluded the Chinese investors.
Representatives of such companies as “CZBANK”, “NEW ENERGY SOURCES CO.,LTD” took part in the meeting.
