Bishkek, June 11, 2024. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobaev, during a working visit to Vienna (Austria), held negotiations with Federal Minister of Economy and Labor of Austria Martin Kocher.
During the meeting, the parties had a detailed conversation on all issues of mutual interest.
The parties noted the importance of continuing work within the framework of the Kyrgyz-Austrian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
The deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers spoke about the results of the international investment energy forum and expressed gratitude to the Austrian side for their assistance in organizing the forum.
He also emphasized the need to build capacity in priority areas, noting, in particular, interaction in the field of green energy, renewable energy sources and business.
Representatives of the Austrian business sector also took part in the meeting. Issues of establishing direct contacts between the business circles of the two countries were discussed.
