Bishkek, July 31, 2024 . / Kabar / . Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers-Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev met with newly elected Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The deputy head of the Cabinet conveyed words of greetings and congratulations on behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov and Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov on the occasion of the official assumption of office of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and wished great success in this important and responsible position for the prosperity of the Iranian people.
Torobaev noted the high level of political contacts between the two countries, emphasizing that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to friendly relations with Iran, which create a solid basis for the development of bilateral cooperation in many areas.
In turn, newly elected Iranian leader Masoud Pezeshkian expressed the readiness of the Iranian side to continue a permanent political dialog, as well as the progressive development and strengthening of Kyrgyz-Iranian cooperation.
On the instructions of President Sadyr Zhaparov, Bakyt Torobaev also participated in the official inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, as the head of the Kyrgyz delegation.
Heads of state, government and parliaments of a number of foreign countries, including president of Tajikistan, PM of Armenia, speakers of Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as the first persons of other states arrived in the city of Tehran to participate in the event
