Balance of power between president and parliament will be preserved: Sadyr Zhaparov

Bishkek, Jan. 10, 2021. /Kabar/. Presidential candidate Sadyr Zhaparov answered media questions about the results of the early presidential election.

According to him, under his rule the balance of power between the president and the parliament will be conserved in the country.

"I would also like to note that the Kurultai system (a representative form of citizens’ participation in the discussion and decision making on issues of state and public importance) is now being introduced, which will also give its recommendations," Zhaparov said.

Early presidential elections and a referendum on the form of government in the country ended today. According to preliminary calculations from automatically reading ballot boxes, Sadyr Zhaparov is leading in the presidential elections by gaining 79.25 % of the votes.
