Bankers of Kyrgyzstan and Germany plan to hold joint forum in April

Bishkek, Jan. 30, 2024. /Kabar/. Bankers from Kyrgyzstan and Germany plan to hold a joint forum in Frankfurt am Main in April this year, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany reported.

According to the diplomatic mission, on January 26, Ambassador Omurbek Tekebaev met with Managing Director of AKA Bank Mark Venchik. The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in order to develop the banking and financial systems in the Kyrgyz Republic, including on issues of export financing.

Venchik noted the interest of the German bank in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.

AKA Bank (Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH - Export Credit Corporation) was created in 1952 by uniting the largest bank branches, large regional and state banks, as well as leading private banks in Germany. It is located in Frankfurt am Main. It is a specialized export finance bank that provides financing and credit lines to German exports.
