COVID-19: Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan introduces number of restrictions

Bishkek, Sept. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. In Batken Oblast, due to the aggravation of the epidemiological situation because of COVID-19 coronavirus infection, a number of restrictions were adopted by the decision of the oblast headquarters.

According to the report from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, since Sept. 28 movement of transport between regions and towns, also city public transport has been temporarily stopped.

The work of cattle markets has been suspended.

Friday prayers is temporarily stopped in mosques, it is recommended to read daily and Friday prayers at home.

Strict control over compliance with the mask regime has been introduced.

According to decision of the Republican HQ, citizens of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan crossing the border of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken Oblast are required to have PCR analysis with a negative result obtained in the last three days at the checkpoint.

Heads of regions, towns committed to daily raids to meet sanitary requirements in shopping centers, stores, canteens, public places, as well as to strengthen the work on disinfection and taking measures against violators.

Also, they were instructed to strengthen control over compliance with sanitary rules by political parties, a mask regime and social distance during campaigning, and to take appropriate measures if a violation is detected.
