Osh, Feb. 4, 2021 / Kabar /. Batken Oblast governor Zhanybek Zhalalov handed over 9 ambulances to family medicine centers of the oblast.
During the key presentation ceremony, Zhalalov said that the new ambulances would improve the material and technical base of healthcare institutions, and the provision of medical care would become more accessible.
In 2020, the state handed over 8 ambulances to Batken Oblast, and 9 from sponsors. The total number of ambulances in Batken Oblast makes 3 units. Despite this, the need for ambulances remains, and appropriate work is underway to solve these problems.
Over 380 thousand people live in Batken Oblast, which is in the western part of Kyrgyzstan.
There are 4 cities, 5 towns and 198 villages in the oblast.
