Bishkek, May 24, 2019. /Kabar/. About 1.7 thousand new jobs were created at enterprises, organizations and institutions in Kyrgyzstan from January to March 2019.
Almost a third of them (517 seats) are in small enterprises, the press service of the National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The largest number of new jobs (19%) was created in education, and about 17% in trade, financial intermediation and insurance.
Thus, 972 jobs were created in Bishkek and 167 in Osh city. The largest number of jobs was created in Batken Oblast (169), followed by Talas Oblast (111), Jalal-Abad Oblast (44), Osh Oblast (38), Issyk-Kul Oblast (22), Chui Oblast (19) and Naryn Oblast (17).
