Bishkek, Jan. 7, 2018 / Kabar /. The first reception of patients for radiotherapy with the help of Bhabhatron equipment will be opened in Bishkek after Jan. 15.
According to the press center of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, director of the National Center of Oncology and Hematology Ernis Tilekov said that active construction of a new building for children's oncohematology is underway. All construction works are planned to be completed by Sept. 17, 2018, according to the tasks set at the last meeting of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on Dec. 30, 2017.
Thanks to the $ 10 million allocated by Kumtor Gold Company, a modern equipment for the treatment of cancer patients will be purchased.
On January 7, three experts from Kyrgyzstan (engineer, medical physicist and physician), who have already been trained with Indian specialists in Bishkek, left for Delhi, and now within a few days they will raise their skills in Indian clinics and after returning to Bishkek the reception of patients for radiotherapy with the help of Bhabhatron equipment will be started.
