Bilateral co-op issues between Kyrgyz, Turkish theatres discussed

Bishkek, Oct.31, 2024. /Kabar/. Director General of the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Maldybaev Muratbek Begaliev held a meeting with Administrative and Artistic Director of the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Theater Caner Akgün, where issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed.

Within the framework of cooperation, the heads of the two theatres plan to create joint projects by attracting directors, artists, conductors, soloists of opera and ballet, the Kyrgyz Opera Theater said.

The sides also discussed issues of conducting tours, concerts, internship and advanced training of artists of the Opera and Ballet Theater named after Maldybaev.

Caner Akgün wished creative success to the staff of the theater and personally to Muratbek Begaliev, and expressed desire to provide all possible assistance in promoting the opera and ballet art of Kyrgyzstan.
