Bishkek among most romantic cities in CIS

Bishkek, Feb. 12, 2019. /Kabar/. On the occasion of Valentine's Day, February 14, analytical agency TourStat presented the most romantic cities in the CIS countries according to an online survey of Russian tourists.

According to TourStat, the romantic tourism of Russian tourists to the CIS countries on weekends and public holidays is more than millions of trips per year.

Almaty, Bishkek and Yerevan were included in the rating of the romantic cities of the CIS; they scored 5% of the votes.

The top five of the most romantic cities in the CIS, popular for weekend travel, include the capital cities of Astana in Kazakhstan, Baku in Azerbaijan, Minsk in Belarus, Chisinau in Moldova and Tbilisi in Georgia.

Minsk, Astana and Baku, received fourteen percent of votes as the most romantic city, Chisinau – ten percent, and Tbilisi – a third of the votes.
