Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2018. /Kabar/. The TurStat analytical agency presented the ranking of the best cities in the CIS for New Year and winter travel of tourists in December and January 2019.
Yerevan is in the top five most popular cities among tourists in the CIS.
The top ten CIS cities among tourists this winter include Minsk in Belarus, Baku in Azerbaijan, Astana in Kazakhstan, Yerevan in Armenia, Almaty in Kazakhstan, Tashkent in Uzbekistan, Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, Chisinau in Moldova, Dushanbe in Tajikistan, and Ashkhabad in Turkmenistan.
According to the TourStat, tourists come to cities and CIS countries in winter for an average of 3-5 days.
Russian tourists spend on winter tours to cities and resorts of the CIS from $ 50 to $ 100 per day for accommodation and food.
The rating is based on an analysis of the popularity of tours.
