Ashgabat, Aug. 24, 2018 / Kabar /. Bishkek and Ashgabat intend to resume direct flights, Minister of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan Zhamshitbek Kalilov told journalists on the results of the first day of the state visit of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov to Turkmenistan.
"President Jeenbekov also said about the importance of resuming air travel. This question has been raising for many years, but so far there has been no progress. I think that in the near future we will send relevant proposals on this issue for holding bilateral talks. We believe that in the near future all these issues will be resolved," the minister said.
