Bishkek athletes take prizes in bicycle race in Kazakhstan

Bishkek, June 13, 2022. /Kabar/. Bishkek athletes won prizes in a bicycle race in Kazakhstan, the press service of the capitals’ Mayor’s Office reported.

Kazakhstan’s Taraz city hosted a republican cycling KSS (short track) mountain bike race in memory of police captain Gaziz Baitasov among men, women and juniors.

"Our country was represented by 7 cyclists. According to the results of the sporting event, Elizaveta Sheremeova took the second place, and the third place was won by Alimina Chalova,” the report said.

Cycling race was held to promote physical culture and sport as an important factor in the formation of a healthy lifestyle, as well as to popularize cycling among the general population and identify the strongest amateur athletes in cycling.
