Bishkek authorities ban taxi and public transport on weekends

Bishkek, June 25, 2020 / Kabar /. The public transport will not work in Bishkek on weekends, the Bishkek Mayor’s Office said.

The epidemiological situation in the capital remains tense. The foci of infection of Bishkek residents are also public places and transport.

“In order to ensure the safety of citizens, a decision was made to restrict public transport on weekends. Now buses, trolleybuses, private minibuses, as well as taxi services will not work on weekends,” the report said.

This measure will be preserved until the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the capital.

The corresponding decision was signed by Vice Mayor of the capital Tatyana Kuznetsova.
