BISHKEK, Aug. 16, 2017 /Kabar/. A solemn reception is held in Bishkek on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of India.
Erlan Abdyldaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ambassador of India Lakshmanan Savitri, heads and representatives of embassies and international organizations accredited in Kyrgyzstan, as well as political and public figures participated in the solemn event.
In his speech, the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan noted the importance of developing bilateral relations. He said that today Kyrgyz-Indian relations have reached a new level of development, responding to the long-term interests of the peoples of the two countries.
"For us, India has always been a friendly republic, there are many joint projects in Kyrgyzstan, I want to note the active participation the Republic of India in medicine, our economic and political ties are also growing stronger every day," Abdyldaev said.
The Foreign Minister thanked the Ambassador, the leadership of India for the political, moral and economic support provided to Kyrgyzstan.
