Bishkek, March 21 / Kabar /. The theatrical performance, mass festivities with national games and other entertainments were organized today in Bishkek in honor of the celebration of Nooruz holiday.
Nooruz holiday (Spring holiday) heen celebrated by nations of the East and Central Asia on March 21, this is the day of the spring equinox.
Similar events take place not only in all districts of the capital, but also in all regions of the country.
Although this day was celebrated from ancient times, the celebration of Nooruz in Kyrgyzstan on March 21 was officially established by the law of the Kyrgyz Republic only on February 5, 1991.
