Bishkek, Apr.1, 2020. /Kabar/. Commandant of the Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek Almazbek Orozaliyev signed an order on the procedure of public access to information and dissemination of information, taking into account the current crisis situation.
According to the document, an online platform for mass media and online publications will be created on the basis of the press center of the Republican Headquarters for Combating Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus in the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, the procedure for interaction between the Bishkek Commandant’s Office and the mass media and online publications during the state of emergency will be regulated.
The purpose of this Regulation is to guarantee the rights of citizens to receive official, reliable information. The document have been developed in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Constitutional Law "On the State of Emergency", and other regulatory legal acts, orders and instructions of the commandant.
