Bishkek do not impose restrictions due to COVID-19

Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2022. / Kabar /. During the briefing, Vice Mayor of Bishkek Victoria Mozgacheva answered the question of whether any restrictions would be introduced in the capital due to the epidemiological situation.

The vice mayor said that today they are working not on the issue of restrictions, but on strengthening sanitary standards.

She believes that this measure will be more effective, in connection with which she urges citizens and guests of the capital to adhere to the sanitary norms in public transport and public places.

“Our employees carry out raids – they check whether passengers are wearing masks. There are also raids on public catering points. We urge citizens who were planning some big family events to postpone the celebration until a later date, when the epidemic situation becomes more stable," Mozgacheva said.

The vice mayor said that measures have also been strengthened in schools, including the use of antiseptics and so on.
