Bishkek, June 10, 2022. / Kabar /. The Bishkek City Drama Theater successfully performed at the 34th International Theater Festival in the Turkish city of Denizli, the theater said.
The theaters of Turkey and Azerbaijan took part in the cultural event, which takes place from June 3 to 12.
On June 8, the Kyrgyz team presented its new work to international experts and critics - the parable of the outstanding writer and playwright Beksultan Zhakiev "Saadak kakty" ("Moan of the bowstring") directed by Ulanmyrza Karypbaev.
The performance was played in one breath, convincingly and in relief, received a lot of enthusiastic emotions from numerous spectators, and colleagues from other countries came to the unanimous opinion that Kyrgyz artists have a lot to learn, the report said.
