Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2017 / Kabar/. TurStat analytical agency compiled a rating of the best cities of the CIS for winter trips of Russian tourists.
According to data of the agency, the rating is based on the analysis of the popularity of tourist trips this winter. According to the rating of the agency, Bishkek entered the first ten winter trips among the CIS countries on New Year's Day among the Russians, who will celebrate the New Year holidays from December 30 to January 8.
The top 10 most popular cities of the CIS for winter holidays - Minsk, Almaty, Baku, Astana, Yerevan, Tashkent, Brest, Bishkek, Chisinau and Ganja.
The agency also explained that tourists travel to the capitals of CIS countries on weekends, as well as to ski resorts: Karakol in Kyrgyzstan and Chimbulak in Kazakhstan.
According to Turstat, tourists come to Kyrgyzstan on average for 4 days and spend $ 60 per day.
Bishkek is popular for inexpensive trips in the CIS, and Baku is the leader for "luxury" resting.
