Bishkek has highest intensive COVID-19 incidence rate

Bishkek, May 25, 2021. / Kabar /. The highest intensive COVID-19 incidence rate per 100,000 population is observed in Bishkek, head of the Public Health Care Department of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Kyrgyzstan Ainura Akmatova told at a briefing.

She said that the intensive incidence rate of COVID-19 in Bishkek exceeded the republican rate by 2.3%.

“Next on the list of the highest intensive COVID-19 incidence rate per 100,000 population is the city of Osh,” she said.

In total 39,456 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Bishkek since the pandemic.

Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 tally reached on Tuesday 103,000 after registration of 298 new cases registered in the past 24 hours, 96, 433 of the total number recovered, 1,765 people died.
