Bishkek, Nov.15, 2024. /Kabar/. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev held talks with Minister of Environment, Agriculture and Water Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Co-Chairman of the Kyrgyz-Saudi Cooperation Committee Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli.
The Cabinet of Ministers reported that during the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for further interaction between the two countries.
First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet Adylbek Kasymaliev warmly welcomed his Saudi counterpart, noting that cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia has been developing in recent years at a dynamic pace, citing the example of bilateral visits at the highest and high levels.
Kasymaliev highlighted the successful development of cooperation with the Saudi Fund for Development, emphasizing that a number of important projects are currently being implemented, which contribute to the economic growth of both countries.
The sides discussed the possibility of increasing trade and investment, as well as the implementation of joint projects aimed at improving the living standards of the population of both countries. In particular, emphasis was placed on the development of the agricultural sector, which is a priority for both economies.
In turn, Minister of Environment, Agriculture and Water Resources of Saudi Arabia Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli noted the huge potential for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and expressed readiness to “support Kyrgyzstan's initiatives and active participation in projects that contribute to the development of agriculture, energy and other key sectors”.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed readiness to further strengthen bilateral relations and sign new agreements to promote partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia.
