Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2021 / Kabar /. Bishkek hosts a book-illustrative exhibition and a memorial evening dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the famous Turkologist, lexicologist, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Honored Scientist of Kyrgyzstan Kusein Karasaev.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of, the National Commission on the State Language and the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Bishkek Humanitarian University, the Kyrgyz-Turkish College and a street in the city of Karakol were named after Karasaev, as well as a monument and memorial complex were erected on the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.
The exhibition features books by Karasaev, newspaper and magazine articles, publications, photographs reflecting the life and creative path of the scientist.
