Bishkek, March 3, 2022 . / Kabar / . A solemn celebration of the Flag Day of Kyrgyzstan is taking place on Ala-Too square in Bishkek.
The event is attended by President Sadyr Zhaparov, representatives of the diplomatic corps, prominent personalities of Kyrgyzstan, state and municipal officials.
The event includes a parade of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan.
The solemn event is broadcast live on the Public Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic, national and regional TV channels.
The State Flag Day is celebrated annually on March 3.
The state symbol of Kyrgyzstan was approved by the Supreme Council Republic on March 3, 1992. The first flag of independent Kyrgyzstan was raised on March 5, 1992 above the building of the Government House in Bishkek.
