The Olympic team of the Kyrgyz Republic completed its performance at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris with 6 medals: 2 silver medals were won by Meerim Zhumanazarova in the freestyle wrestling tournament and boxer Seyitbek uulu Munarbek, 4 bronze medals were won by wrestlers Aisuluu Tynybekova, Akzhol Makhmudov, Zholaman Sharshenbekov, Uzur Dzhusupbekov.
