Bishkek, June 28, 2019. /Kabar/. The second Kyrgyz-Emirati inter-ministerial political consultations at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Nurlan Abdrakhmanov and the United Arab Emirates Khalifa Shaheen Al-Marar was held in Bishkek, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The sides discussed a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues, namely the current state and prospects of cooperation in the political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres and stressed the necessity of deepening political contacts between the two countries by continuing the exchange of mutual visits at the summit and high levels, as well as expanding inter-parliamentary ties.
The deputy foreign ministers discussed the current state of the legal framework of bilateral cooperation in various areas and prospects for its expansion.
They also considered in detail the issues of regional problems, exchanged views on topical international issues of mutual interest.
Following the talks the sides reached an agreement to continue the practice of holding consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
