Bishkek hosts international forum on women's entrepreneurship

Bishkek, Oct. 27, 2023 . / Kabar / . The 3rd International Women's Forum was held in Bishkek on Friday.

It was attended by businesswomen from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan said.

The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Congress of Women of Kyrgyzstan. The main purpose of the forum was to promote interaction and demonstrate the potential of women in business.

President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Temir Sariev emphasized the important role of businesswomen in the development of the country's economy.

"Their diligence, professionalism and entrepreneurial spirit contribute to the creation of new jobs, increased production and the development of the business sector," he said in his remarks .

The forum also featured speeches by Chairwoman of the Russian Federation Council Committee on Social Policy Elena Perminova and Chairwoman of the Association of Women and Girls of Uzbekistan Nasiba Miradilova.
