Bishkek, June 6, 2022 / Kabar /. A massive children's race "Shoro Kid's Run" was held in Bishkek last weekend.
The event was timed to coincide with the Children's Day and the 30th anniversary of the domestic Shoro company, the Bishkek Mayor's Office said.
In total, a record number of participants took part in it - 1000 children from 2 to 16 years old.
A cultural show program, games, competitions, sports performances, and face painting were organized for children.
The purpose of the race is to introduce children to sports and a healthy lifestyle.
For the convenience of young runners, all participants were divided into age categories and distances in order to easily overcome their distances.
• children aged 2-5 ran a distance of 300 meters;
• 6-8 years old - 500 meters;
• 6-12 years old - 1 kilometer;
• 13-16 years old – 3 kilometers.
Each child at the finish line received a commemorative medal and prize sets from sponsors and partners.
After the end of the sports part of the event, a cultural show program was held.
