Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2024. / Kabar/. On August 17, Bishkek hosted a master class dedicated to bilateral cultural exchange between Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Korea.
According to the organizers, the event was organized jointly by the KOICA Alumni Association in the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the KOICA office in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The goal of the event was to strengthen mutual understanding and cultural ties between the two nations through the study and exchange of culinary traditions. During the master class, participants learned about the process of cooking traditional Korean dishes, which allowed them to better understand the cultural characteristics and feel the warmth and hospitality of this country.
"Our cooperation with the Republic of Korea allows us to build strong bridges of friendship and mutual understanding, and events such as today's master class emphasize the importance of cultural exchange, in particular, through cooking. We believe that this event has become another step towards strengthening the ties between our peoples,” said Elina Sakkaraeva, President of the KOICA Alumni Association in the Kyrgyz Republic.
KOICA implements programs such as training for advanced training of civil servants, obtaining a Master's degree and PhD, seminars for disseminating knowledge, and supporting the activities of KOICA Alumni Associations in Kyrgyzstan.
