Bishkek hosts meeting of Kyrgyz-Saudi cooperation committee

Bishkek, Oct. 18, 2019. / Kabar /. The 2nd joint meeting of the Kyrgyz-Saudi Committee on Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been started today in Bishkek, with the participation of the country’s First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov.

At the meeting he said that it is necessary to strengthen bilateral relations in a number of sectors.

“In recent years, there has been a positive trend in bilateral relations. There is a positive trend in commodity circulation between our countries, but this is not the limit and I urge it to increase. In Kyrgyzstan, to support the business sector, there are a number of benefits for electricity, etc., free economic zones have been created. We hope the bilateral relations will reach a new qualitative level,” said Boronov.

In turn, the head of the delegation of Saudi Arabia, Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, Abdulrahman A. Alfadli said that it is necessary to develop trade, investment, cultural, educational and other relations.

“We believe that it is necessary to create a plan for the development of bilateral relations. This meeting proves that we are on the right track and have the potential to develop bilateral relations. We hope the development of bilateral relations will benefit the businessmen of the two countries,” Alfadli said.

The event is attended by the heads of departments of two countries.
