Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2021 / Kabar /. Photo exhibition of Kyrgyz photographer Nursultan Attokurov “Beautiful and Mysterious Kyrgyzstan” has been opened in Bishkek, the exposition of this exhibition will also be presented in Dubai at EXPO-2021.
The author said that he worked during 2 years in different parts of the republic. “Every weekend I traveled with my friend to different parts of Chui, Issyk-Kul and Naryn Oblasts, I took 20 thousand pictures. In 2020, we traveled 47 times. Each trip lasted two to four days. We drove over 20 thousand kilometers in the north of the country. We selected eight photos, sent them to Dubai for approval and waited. Two or three weeks later, they called me and said that all of my eight photos had been approved,” he said.
This weekend, on Feb. 27-28, Bishkek residents can see famous photos at the exhibition.
The World EXPO, or simply EXPO, is a global event dating back to 1851 and representing various major exhibitions united by one theme and held in different parts of the world. The highlight of each world exhibition is the national pavilions of the participating countries.
It is noted that EXPO 2021 Dubai will be visited by 25 million guests, 70 percent of whom will be from abroad. This will be the first ever exhibition where the majority of visitors will be from other countries. The event is timed to coincide with the country's golden anniversary and serve as a springboard for the development of progressive ideas of sustainable development for the coming decades.
