Bishkek hosts presentation of presidential prize for journalists

Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2024. / Kabar /. The ceremony of presenting the first ever "Meikin" Prize, established to support and recognize achievements in the field of journalism and media, is taking place in Bishkek.

The awarding ceremony attended by President Sadyr Zhaparov, head of the information policy service of the presidential administration Daiyrbek Orunbekov, journalists, bloggers and media experts.

The main goal of the prize is to stimulate the development of journalism in the country, increase the prestige of the profession and encourage high standards in the media sphere.
