Bishkek hosts scientific and practical conference dedicated to Day of Kuwait

Bishkek, Feb. 18, 2021 / Kabar /. On the eve of the celebration of the National Day of the State of Kuwait, a scientific and practical conference was held at International Kuwait University in Bishkek, the press service of the university reported.

Leading scientists from higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait and prominent scientists took part in the work of the scientific forum.

During the conference, scientists initiated to create a scientific center for the study of the historical heritage of Mahmud Kashkari on the basis of International Kuwait University. Chairman of the National Commission on the State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the country, Syrtbay Musayev, supported a good initiative.

“Learning a language is the foundation for strengthening cooperation between countries and peoples. In our opinion, knowledge of the Arabic language will become a bridge for studying the richest cultural heritage of the ancient Turkic and Arab world, will serve as a good platform for further rapprochement and strengthening cooperation between our peoples,” said rector of the MKU, Doctor of Historical Sciences Asan Ormushev.
