Bishkek hosts solemn event dedicated to 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and China

Bishkek, Jan. 5, 2022. / Kabar /. A solemn event is being held in Bishkek on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the People's Republic of China.

The event is attended by President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Chinese Ambassador Du Dewen, officials, state and municipal employees.

In his welcoming speech, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Nuran Niyazaliev said that exactly 30 years ago, on January 5, 1992, a communiqué was signed on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the People's Republic of China.

“From that moment on, a new history of relations between countries as friendly, sovereign neighboring states began. In turn, today Kyrgyz-Chinese relations are developing and are at a high level in the political, trade, investment, educational, cultural and strategic spheres. We also plan to further develop our ties, which meet the fundamental interests of the two countries and their peoples,” he said.
