Bishkek, Feb. 22 / Kabar /. Bishkek hosts the 10th meeting of the Judicial Reform Council.

Chief of the President’s Office Farid Niyazov said that President Almazbek Atambayev was going to take part in this meeting, but due to the tight schedule couldn’t. Niyazov also proposed to divide this meeting into two stages, the first stage will be held today and the second stage - on March 10, in which President Atambayev plans to personally participate.

He said that four items on the agenda: Presentation and discussion of the draft law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On amendments to the constitutional law "On the Status of Judges"; Presentation and discussion of the provisions of draft laws initiated by deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh; Presentation and discussion of draft laws prepared by the expert working group headed by Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic Feruza Dzhamasheva and presentation of the results of a pilot study on the situation of the rule of law in the Kyrgyz Republic on the basis of interviews conducted by the UNDP experts.

The meeting is attended by Attorney General I. Dzholdubaeva, chairman of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Judicial and Legal Issues and Regulationsof Kyrgyz Parliament A.Koduranova, chairman of the Committee on Budget and Finance T.Tillaev, chairman of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic A.Tokbaeva, Chairman of the Board of Judges of the Kyrgyz Republic Kydyk Dzhunushpaev , chairman of the Council on the selection of judges Sh.Maychiev, Finance Minister A.Kasmaliev, Minister of Justice U.Ahmetov, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, attorneys, lawyers, experts and representatives of international organizations.
