Bishkek, April 24 / Kabar /. Bishkek hosted the first inter-ministerial Kyrgyz-Kuwaiti political consultations with the participation of Deputy Foreign Msinisters of Kyrgyzstan Emil Kaikiyev and the State of Kuwait Ali Suleiman Al-Said, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the consultations, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, namely, the prospects for expanding cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The sides also discussed a wide range of issues of the progressive development of the traditionally friendly Kyrgyz-Kuwaiti relations, including regular political contacts, including within the framework of the United Nations, OIC and other international organizations, further steps to build business cooperation and humanitarian ties, intensify cooperation in energy, transport and other areas. The sides also discussed in detail the issues of regional security, and exchanged views on topical international issues of mutual interest.
