Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2022. / Kabar /. Last weekend, Bishkek hosted the Korean Kimchi and Traditional Wine Tasting, Festival organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Vice Mayor for Social Affairs Victoria Mozgacheva and Deputy Head of Pervomaisky District Aida Rysbaeva took part in the art of making kimchi.
In 2013 the culture of cooking kimchi received the status of intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO.
The Kimchi and Korean Wine Tasting Festival is a significant event to introduce Korean cuisine and traditional drinks by promoting and organizing kimchi making and tasting activities of various types of traditional drinks.
