Bishkek is 3rd in world ranking of polluted cities

Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2022. /Kabar/. According to the website of the world ranking World Air Quality, Bishkek is on the 3rd place among the other 100 cities in the world in terms of air pollution.

Thus, the concentration of PM2.5 microparticles in the air in Bishkek is now 25.5 times higher than the WHO recommended average annual air quality value of 127 micrograms (mcg) per cubic meter. Thus, the air quality index for air pollution remained at 188, and the day before the figure reached 203.

Dhaka (Bangladesh), Karachi (Pakistan) rank first on the list, followed by Delhi (India), Lahore (Pakistan) and Accra (Ghana) after Bishkek.
