Bishkek, Apr. 4, 2018. / Kabar /. All the marshrutkas started working today in Bishkek, deputy head of the city transport department of the Bishkek Mayor's Office Nurlan Atykanov told Kabar Agency.
He said that, 100% of minibuses, that’s somewhere around 2.5 thousand ones are working today. The requirements put forward by drivers are not of a legal nature, but each issue will be considered, he said.
Regarding the uniform form, Atykanov said that it was a common initiative, no one forced drivers.
In turn, one of the representatives of minibuses told Kabar that there was no result of the two-day strike. As for the insurance policy, he admitted that after the adoption of the law they should not have made a noise.
On April 2, the minibus did not massively go to work and organized a protest meeting, where they put forward their demands to the Mayor's Office. The drivers demanded to raise the fare for transportation, delaying the imposition of fines for the insurance policy, canceling the uniform and others.
