Bishkek Mayor Abdykadyrov holds his first working meeting

Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2022 . / Kabar /. Newly appointed Mayor of Bishkek Emilbek Abdykadyrov held the first working meeting with the leadership of law enforcement agencies and the city prosecutor's office.

The press service of the capital’s Mayor’s Office reported that during the meeting, the meeting participants discussed issues of assistance in conducting the upcoming repeat elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh in the Pervomaiskiy and Sverdlovskiy constituencies.

"As a result, the mayor instructed to provide all possible assistance to Bishkek territorial election commission and precinct election commissions of Pervomaisky and Sverdlovsky districts, as well as to ensure the safety of our citizens. It was also instructed to respond promptly in case of election violations and to take appropriate measures within the framework of Kyrgyz law," the report said.

120 polling stations have been opened throughout the capital.
