Bishkek Mayor meets with regional director of EBRD

Bishkek, Sept. 14, 2022. / Kabar /. Mayor of Bishkek Emilbek Abdykadyrov met with a delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) headed by Regional Director for Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan Ayten Rustamova.

According to the press service of the municipality, during the meeting the sides discussed current and potential projects. In particular, the acceleration of the process of purchasing buses running on compressed natural gas.

The bank also presented two projects: the Bishkek Water Project and the Purchase of Autonomous Trolleybuses for Bishkek, the report said.

As a result, the mayor noted that these projects will be considered in detail by the mayor's office of the capital with the involvement of industry experts.
